Slender Briarwood Smoking Pipe with a Walnut Inlayed Cap
This pipe is made from vintage Italian Briarwood. The wood was originally harvested in the 1960s, and after being in storage for over half a century, the raw wood made its way to the United States and eventually in to the hands of our artisans.
The cap is inlayed with Walnut. The Black Walnut tree has a history deeply entwined with the wood hobbyists and builders of the United States. These trees were found by the early settlers scattered through the mixed forests of North America: north through Canada, west through the Great Plains, and as far south as Florida.
The bowl is on the smaller side and the stem is an easy to hold slender round shape.
