This pipe is made from vintage Italian Briarwood. The wood was originally harvested in the 1960s, and after being in storage for over half a century, the raw wood made its way to the United States and eventually in to the hands of our artisans. 

The cap is inlayed with Beechwood. Beech (Fagus) is a genus of deciduous trees in the family Fagaceae, native to temperate Europe, Asia and North America.

The bowl is on the smaller side and the stem is an easy to hold round shape.
