Briarwood Smoking Pipe with a Large Bowl and Aromatic Cedar Inlayed Cap

This pipe is made from vintage Italian Briarwood. The wood was originally harvested in the 1960s, and after being in storage for over half a century, the raw wood made its way to the United States and eventually in to the hands of our artisans.

The cap is inlayed with Eastern Red Cedar, or Juniperus virginiana, also known as aromatic cedar for the pungent aroma of the naturally occurring oils. This species of juniper is native to eastern North America from southeastern Canada to the Gulf of Mexico.

The bowl is on the larger side and the stem is an easy to hold round shape.
